How will Salida handle all the traffic?

I am a Salida resident & read with interest the comments about our proposed growth. Putting aside all the comments about “planned development,” “residents deciding” or “supervisors doing the right thing,” here is my concern. The traffic flow into and out of the Hammett Road exit. We were told years ago that the Briggsmore exit would be adequate to handle the traffic. Then later it was the Standiford exit, then the Pelandale exit. Now we are talking about expanding to Salida. Does anyone doubt that we will be told the same thing this time about roads being adequate to handle traffic? And that the outcome will be the same as with Briggsmore, Standiford and Pelendale. Too much traffic for the road/exit design.
