Salida Now was not an initiative that was drummed up on a mere whim. It took years of planning and I congratulate Salidans on now having a clearer future. More area residents will now have the option to quit driving the long commute to the Bay Area and switch to a lifestyle where they only need to drive 10 minutes from home to work. I am pleased with the supervisors’ decision and urge those who don’t support the initiative to reconsider who they vote for next election. We chose these supervisors to represent us so we don’t have to put every decision made on the ballot.

Modesto
